Many of our index annuities offer an optional rider, AG Lifetime Income Builder®. With it you build a guaranteed Income Base that can be used to make Income Withdrawals guaranteed to never decrease last as long as you live1...even if the Annuity Value falls to zero!
Deferred Annuity Customer profile
Ray is 58 and plans on working another seven years. He has a good job, but no pension. For him, a deferred annuity (whether traditional fixed annuity or index annuity) is a great way for him to accumulate cash in a tax-deferred account. Then, once he’s ready to retire, he has a guaranteed monthly income for the rest of his life.
1When you select your Lifetime Withdrawal Start Date, your Income Percentage is set for when you ultimately begin your income stream.
Your Lifetime Income Withdrawals may increase but are guaranteed not to decrease so long as you do not make excess withdrawals. There is an annual fee for this rider.
